Published 06/10/26📚 A very special author visit! 📚 We were extremely privileged to welcome David Owen into school today to share his new book, Graveyard Gladiators, with our KS2 children. David captivated the children with some enthralling extracts from the book and spoke about what inspired him to become an author. It was wonderful to hear about his journey as a writer and the ideas behind his latest novel. To make the visit even more memorable, the children also had the opportunity to purchase signed copies of Graveyard Gladiators. A huge thank you to David for taking the time to visit us and for inspiring our young readers and budding authors! A huge thank you to Books for Bugs for organising this visit for us. Wow – what an incredible effort from our boys’ and girls’ cross country teams this afternoon! 🌟
Our children took part in the District Team Cross Country Event, and what a performance it was!

We are incredibly proud of every child who took part. They showed fantastic determination, teamwork and resilience, supporting one another all the way to the finish line.

Published 28/09/26🚑 A special visit from the ambulance service! 🚑
Today, children across our infant classes enjoyed a very exciting visit from an ambulance from the South Western Ambulance Service.
The children learned all about the important work of our emergency medical responders and had the opportunity to step inside the ambulance and explore some of the specialist equipment carried on board.
Of course, one of the biggest highlights was getting to hear the siren in action! 🚨
A huge thank you to our emergency personnel for giving up their valuable time to visit us and provide such a memorable learning experience for the children. We are very grateful! 💙🚑
