The children had an amazing time at last night's discos. It was great to see those giant conga lines and of course the Okey Cokey!

What an amazing turnout for our sports days this year. The children loved seeing you all there. The children all tried their best, demonstrating all of the school values and showing great support and encouragement for each other. We are proud of all of you for what you have achieved this week!
Great effort from our year 5/6 football team who took part in the ProStars tournament at Five Acres school today. Despite missing may year 6 children, who have been visiting their secondary schools this week, the children played extremely well. For some this was their first tournament but they still managed to win one game and draw two others.
We are super proud of our year 5/6 girl's football team. Today the took part in the last Prostars football tournament of the year. Their performance has been so good through all the Prostars tournaments this season and finished as highest point scorers across all the tournaments, setting up an overall final against Woolaston school.
Our year 3/4 cricket team took part in a local cricket festival at Newent cricket club yesterday.
Well done to our girls football team who beat St. White's 7-4 last night. The team played exceptionally well, fab effort girls!
Well done to our local history quiz team who competed against Yorkley in the first round of the local school's history quiz today.
After a very close run contest, our children finished winners and have qualified for the next round.
Yesterday, we were visited by Ash Randall, professional football freestyler. Ash amazed the children with his exceptional freestyle skills during a whole school assembly. Ash then led some football freestyle workshops for our junior children where they learnt some of his skills.
