  • World Record Attempt!

    Eagles Class recently joined thousands of schools across the country—and celebrity chef Jamie Oliver—in an exciting attempt to break a Guinness World Record for the most groups cooking simultaneously!

    As part of the challenge, the pupils prepared a delicious tomato pasta dish, learning valuable cooking skills along the way. The cookery room was filled with wonderful aromas and even more smiles, as everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

    We’re now eagerly awaiting confirmation from Guinness World Records to see if the record has officially been broken. Fingers crossed!

  • The Farmer and the Clown

    Our Year 5 and 6 pupils took part in engaging drama workshops based on Farmer and the Clown, generously funded by ArtSpace. These sessions offered a fantastic opportunity for children to immerse themselves in the performing arts—an especially meaningful experience as the show was developed right here in the Forest of Dean.

    Throughout the day, the children enthusiastically explored a variety of roles, showcasing their creativity and theatrical talents. The workshops culminated in a special performance of Farmer and the Clown by the talented actors, which children and parents  thoroughly enjoyed.

    It was a memorable day that highlighted the importance of arts in education and the power of local storytelling.

During their visit, they delved into the rich history of Gloucester Docks and discovered fascinating facts about rivers and waterways. It was a fun-filled day of hands-on learning and exploration that brought their classroom studies to life.
