Harvest Assembly
We held an incredible assembly to celebrate harvest today. The children all sang harvest songs to each other really well. This was the first time we had the whole school together for an assembly this year and it was amazing to see.

This morning children took part in the Great Big Live Assembly, a live national assembly to celebratee Black History month.
Today the Forest Foodbank visited our assemblies to talk about the important work that they do to support our wider community.
It was the turn of Falcons and Harriers to visit the Dene Heritage Musuem this week to learn more about life in Anglo-Saxon times.
What a great achievement by our school community! The school and our community have come together to win Beat the Street Cinderford! It was fabulous to see you all out on the streets of Cinderford at the start of the summer, promoting being active and scanning your game cards.
Well done to Kacie and Kiara who were the winners of Beat the Street Cinderford! Both scored 9300 points, beating everyone else in the town who took part. What an amazing effort!
Kestrels and Hawks both visited the Dean Heritage Museum last week. They visited to learn about the Anglo-Saxons which is part of their topic for this term.

Our y3/4 children have been taking part in a Times Tables Rockstars competition. Well done to Alby, our winner and Noah and Oliver, our second and third place finishers. Also congratulations to Falcons class who were the overall class winners.
Well done to our girls football team who took part in the Prostars Forest High tournament today. The girls played exceptionally well and were narrowly beaten in their semi-final against Berryhill School
