Welcome to Forest View Primary School, a proud member of the Forest of Dean Trust. Situated in the heart of the beautiful Forest of Dean, our school is at the centre of the community we serve.

At Forest View, children come first. This principle sits at the heart of our decision-making and shapes everything we do. We want every child who joins our school to feel happy, safe and valued, while being challenged and supported to achieve their very best.

We are ambitious for all of our children. We believe children learn best when they are engaged, curious and excited about their learning.

Life at Forest View is about much more than what happens in the classroom. We want our children to experience a rich and varied primary education that helps them discover their talents and interests and develops their confidence. From exciting trips and visits to practical experiences such as cookery, sport, the arts and opportunities to explore the world around them, we work hard to give children experiences they will remember long after they leave us.

Being surrounded by the Forest of Dean gives our school a very special sense of place. We want our children to understand and appreciate their local community while also developing the knowledge, skills and aspirations that will open doors to the wider world.
